Up for sale is a beautiful, early Mercury Flyer ride-on train by Keystone. It’s heavy and well-made. That\'s about all I know about it. A quick search of the internet reveals this: 1939 Mercury Flyer Ride On Train This toy train engine is a ride-on toy that was manufactured in 1939. It is made of pressed steel including the wheels, and was powered by the child riding it. The original color scheme would have been solid red with white embossed lettering. The design is reflective of the streamlined styling that was so popular from the late 1930s and through the 1940s. Dimensions: 24”L by 10 H and 6 W approximately Ride on pressed steel toy train made by the Keystone MFG Co. in Boston, Mass. Keystone made a large line of pressed steel toys including trucks, planes, buses, and construction equipment.Their Ride \'Em line was highly successful since it allowed the child to ride on and steer the toy. The toys were constructed of heavy steel Solid, clean vintage American-made toy. Just what it looks like. No disappointment here. But please check all pictures for condition
