very old Antique leather drum For Sale

This is A very old Antique leather drum
It has fastener on both sides to put a strap or somthing around your neck .
Some of the rivets are missing on the sides some are might be newer
there is no date on it ,dont know when it was made
both sides are solid and tight sounds good
A friend said it might go back to the civil war
I dont know when it was made but it is old
there is a cut 3\\8to 1\\2 in but not through I took a picture of it
