This is a beautiful, completely authentic, and unenhanced fish fossil from a quarry of world-renown in Lebanon.

Please note that, as is not unusual for fish of this size from this location, the slab came out of the ground in pieces and was repaired.

I purchased this several years ago via directly from the owner of the Quarry.

These are amazing and beautifully detailed and are at least comparable to some of the better fish fossils from Green River, Wyoming, in my opinion. They have a different beautiful color.

In addition, the fossils in this formation from Lebanon were from a salt water environment.
