Motto cards were a big thing in the 1920\'s to the 1940s. They started out fairly simple, like this Valentine, and became more and more elaborate as time went on. A large number of greeting cards, especially Christmas, were created in this style. A simple style using a fine Art Deco typeface. The card is lovely, with a slightly wrinkled envelope that has darkened along the glue lines.
