VTG Revere Ware Pre 1968 _ 4 Qt Sauce Pan w Lid and Steamer Insert _ CCSS _ EUC:

Description:Thisis Revere Ware’s vintage pre 1968 Copper Clad Stainless Steel 4 Quart Sauce Panwith its lid (RW model # 1404) and Steamer Insert. The pan’s exterior stainless steel sidewall is clean and shiny but has lost much of it mirror-like clarity after 56years of use and cleaning (please see first two photographs). The pan’s is free of dents ordings and its original two-screw black Bakelite handle is tight and secure, Thepan does not sit perfectly flat but does not wobble on a conventionalelectric or gas stove. Thepan’s lid retains mostall of its original shiny mirror-like finish with minor cleaning surfacescratches. The lid fits correctly and its knob is tight and secure. The copper clad bottom is clean with normal signsof surface scratching from cleaning and use.The logo is easily read.Thestainless steel insert’s exterior stainless steel side wall retains mostall of its original shiny mirror-like finish with minimal, if any, surfacescratching. There is a small surface ding and a more obvious 1 inch narrowsallow indentation on the lower round return (please see photograps 8 and 9).Both probably the result of the insert having been dropped at some point in time.The two black one screw side lifting handles are tight and secure. This steamer basket also fits RW’s 5 QuartStock Pot with a 8 1/4” rim diameter. These handles indicate that the insertwas produced after 1968.
