Vintage Glass Christmas Ornaments - (3) Identical Clip-On Birds with Spun Glass Tails
Please Note: the clips/springs have come loose from (3) birds and must be reglued; the fourth bird is broken but it has a great, thick spun glass tail that could be removed
Color is silver with red/teal green feathers, black beak & eye
Measures almost 5” long (counting tail)
Made for The Geo. Franke Sons Co., West Germany, circa early 1950’s
Wear consistent with age: loss of interior silvering/clouding; one bird is broken; all clips/springs are loose and must be reattached; one bird has a loose tail (in 3 pieces) that must be reglued also; clips are rusty
Comes with Original Box in good condition - shows surface wear/dusty and original price sticker
