• Check number 513522, dated November 1940, in the amount of36 cents; and check number 552087, dated May 1940, in the amount of11 cents.
• Both checks are payable at par through the Northern Trust Company, Chicago, today one of the largest banking institutions in the United States and one of the oldest banks in continuous operation.
