Thomas A Edison Late “Thos” Ink Signature Iconic Umbrella Autograph Cut For Sale

This genuine Edison signature was part of the collection of a Mr. N.L. Julian who collected many signatures during the 1920s, which were sold at sale recently. I was able to pick up half a dozen signatures from his collection. Please check out my other listings, such as Helen Keller, General John Pershing, President Warren G. Harding and more. I almost had Alexander Graham Bell with a stamped returned envelope, but was outoffer. I was very grateful to at least get this Thomas Edison signature. Mr. N.L. Julian did what many people did during the early 1900s. They would write celebrities, politicians and inventors and request their signature with a stamped return envelope. Sometimes they would include a cut card to be signed and this is one of them.

This is a late Edison signature from the 1920’s in which he began shortening Thomas to “Thos” but still kept his iconic umbrella stroke at the top. A good comparison can be seen by looking at this online authenticated example below. Personally it looks like the same ink/pen.
