This rare 1910s “Gold Shore\" hinged cut plug tobacco tin, measuring 4 5/8” x 7” x 4 1/4”, is in very good condition with no rust, some pinpoint dents and some minor age related paint scratches. The hinge and latch are in excellent working order. The original high gloss finish remains. A complete union stamp and two tax stamp fragments remain. This highly attractive, decorative white and red tin with gold and red lettering features an image of Pegasus carrying a red banner. The tobacco was manufactured by Jno. J. Bagey & Company, Detroit, MI in Factory 6, 1st District, MI.
