Russian Figurine Ballerina Porcelain LZFI Leningrad - Swan Lake - by V. Sychev For Sale

This is a beautiful Russian Porcelain Ballerina Figurine produced by sculptor V.I Sychev. He created a ballet cycle of figurines inspired by the images of Russian ballerinas. They were produced by the Leningrad Porcelain Factory (LZFI) circa 1950-1959. She is depicted in dance, plasticity and gestures and conveys the dynamics of movement. She depicts White Swan performed by Galina Ulanova in the ballet \"Swan Lake\". Softness and smoothness are embodied in hard porcelain with mother-of-pearl tint (chandeliers) gilding. She measures 7-1/2\" wide X 4\" tall X 4\" deep and weighs 1-1/2 pounds. She is in excellent condition with no damage and is fully marked on the bottom showing her authenticity.
