Rare and Unique Blue Tear Catcher Vase (Ashkdan) - Swan Neck 12" Vase For Sale

Swan-neck Bottle (Ashkdan) created circa late 19th Century until early 20th Century. This bottle is a rare beauty that can be found in places like the The Met Museum.

This hand-blown bottle has a swan like neck, a bulbous middle, a short pedestal and rounded base. The bottle has no defects, cracks, or chips. However, there are flaws made while crafting such as; the base is slightly uneven on top and the blown glass has bubbles which can be felt.

The flaws do not in anyway take away from its rare beauty. Also notable is the pontil mark, it is bulbous and crudely rendered; which further attest to its age as well as its handmade craftsmanship. (please see attached pictures)
