Rare WW1 TAYLORS EYE WITNESS SHEFFIELD-STAG Handle-2 Blade Military Knife. Nice:

Rare UK Military Pattern knife with good stag scales, made between 1914-1918 under government by Taylors “Eye Witness” of Sheffield. Good original condition

Length closed approximately 4 1/8 inches, excluding the original copper clasp. Primary blade approximately 2 3/4 inches long, edge only. Tang stamped with the Taylors “Eye” over “Witness Sheffield Can opener measures approximately 1 5/8 inches long. Steel liners and spacer. Steel pinched bolsters. Good, gnarled Stag scales with a possible repair done on a small piece of the stag. I cant tell but it looks good and remains tight.copper clasp. Good snap to both blades. Minor patina on blades but visible tang stamp. This will make an excellent addition to any collection. Very old and rare and in great condition for its age. The knife in the pictures will be the exact knife you will receive.
