Rare U.S. Cadet Rifle Model 1868/69 Socket Bayonet Collins & Co. Marked For Sale

U.S. Cadet Rifle Model 1868/69 Socket Bayonet measuring 18.25" overall with a blade length of 15.25" with an inside socket diameter of .781". U.S. Stamped on ricasso area. Bayonet shows a uncleaned brown age patina, scattered rust, still has the collar ring and screw. Left side of socket is stamped C&Co. There were over 24 manufacture bayonets for the US Military, this is the only company that had markings like this and the only one where one can distinguish that it was made by them. A rare find.
