This would be a great gift. It is 3 Clowns and a Dog. The metal sculpture is painted with an enamel paint with some of the shiny metal showing. This artist used 24K gold plating to highlight the surrounding of the greens. This measures 6 inches tall and 10 inches long. The natural stone has beautiful natural veins that add to the character of the piece. This has a felt pad on the bottom to keep it from scratching the furniture. In great condition with no chips or cracks.

Born in Southern California in 1947, artist Ron Lee began carving at the age of 12. In his teens, he sculpted and cast bronze animals. Ron Lee\'s figurines of the Emmett Kelly Senior and Junior clown characters, based on famous circus clowns, became among his most known works. Ron Lee\'s figurines were not limited to clowns, however. In 1990, he was commissioned by Disney to create a Mickey Mouse sculpture, and then he went on to work with Marvel, DC Comics, and several other large entities. Ron Lee\'s artwork went through a long, detailed process. First he sculpted the piece, then preserved it in casting materials, and finally, he hand painted it with chrome and gold detailing.
