Rare India-Made Vintage Tin Litho LOCAL SHUTTLE WINDUP TRAIN Tin Track Box Works For Sale

You are offerding on a very rare tin litho windup train toy with great graphics in the original box called the Local Shuttle Return Train with a windup tin train/trolley car and key, a tin base with track and 2 stations.

Wind the train up and it travels back and forth between the stations, changing directions when the switch underneath is tripped.

The train measures 4\" long by 2\" tall and the base measures 27\" long by 4\" wide. The litho is bright and colorful, there are a few tiny scratches here and there. The base is warped slightly and does not sit flat, but the trolley still functions.

There is no manufacturer\'s name anywhere on the train, base or box, but both stations say \"Delhi\" so I\'m guessing it was made in India. There is also no year marked anywhere but the graphics on the box look to be from the 1940s or 1950s.
