Program inscribed and signed: \"To Warren/Love/Jennifer Savidge\", \"Warren,/All the best/Barry Morse\", \"Warren/Best Wishes/Angel Wallenda\", \"Robert Fuller\", \"Many thanks/Jane Graff\", and 2 unidentified signatures, 9 pages, 8½x11. Program of the Second Academy Awards for the Handicapped, Westin Hotel, Boston, Massachusetts, April 22, 1989. Signed on front cover. ROBERT FULLER (b. 1933) was happiest playing in Westerns, a wish fulfilled when he starred in the TV series Laramie (1959-1963). Fuller was also a regular on Wagon Train and made guest appearances on other Westerns, but that genre was less popular with TV viewers by the 1970s, so Fuller - at producer Jack Webb\'s urging - played a doctor on Emergency! (1972-1978). He continued making TV guest appearances into the new millennium, most recently with recurrent visits to Walker: Texas Ranger (2001). Since then he has run his own ranch and been a popular draw at fan conventions. His awards - most stemming from his Western roles = include the Golden Boot, the Silver Spur, the Buffalo Bill Award, and enshrinement in the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum (Oklahoma City). JENNIFER SAVIDGE (b. 1952) is best known to TV fans as Nurse Lucy Papandrou on St Elsewhere (1982-1988) and Commander Amy Hoffman on JAG (2003-2005), but she has been appearing on TV for nearly a quarter century, from James at 16 (1977) to Friday Night Lights (2010). A recent feature film appearance was in Searching for Sonny (2011). She has been married to Robert Fuller since 2001. English and Canadian stage veteran BARRY MORSE (1918-2008) became well known to American TV audiences when he played Lieutenant Gerard, relentless pursuer of The Fugitive (1963-1967). Among his other prominent TV roles were Space: 1999 (1975-1977) and the miniseries Sadat (as Israeli Prime Minister Begin,1980). Morse wrote several books about life in the theatre. ANGEL WALLENDA (1967-1996) married Steven Wallenda of the \"Flying Wallenda\" high wire performers in 1985, and she soon joined the family act. Afflicted with cancer, she amazed audiences by walking the tightrope on an artificial leg. She gave her final performance in 1990. Angel\'s ex-husband, Steven Wallenda, and son Steven 2nd, are the last surviving lineal descendants of Karl Wallenda, who fell to his death in 1978. JANE GRAFF is a holistic health care professional trained in therapeutic massage, a Reiki Master and Body Talk practitioner. This event was sponsored by the National Academy for the Advancement of the Handicapped. Staples at left. Lightly creased. Lightly worn. Otherwise, fine condition.
