REDUCED - Large Antique/Vintage Chip Carved African Mask For Sale

Unusual LARGE Chip-Carved Mask/Wall Hanging that I believe was made in Africa but you must decide because this is not an area of expertise for me. I have had this a long time and, at some point, the leather piece holding the other earring came off. I still have it but it needs to be reattached- stapled, glued, etc. I have tried to show that the earrings are carved like tiny masks. This is a handsome piece and makes quite a statement. It is 27\" long/tall and about 8 1/2\" wide at the widest point. The base is about 7\" wide and it is about 3 1/4\" deep. There are holes for eyes but I am calling it a wall hanging because the eye holes are a distance from the mouth hole so not comfortable as a mask, although I haven\'t tried to use it as such. I tried to find more information about this kind of carving but had no luck. If you know of any other examples, please let me know and I will add the information here. Thanks for looking!
