Water-washed only. Hand-mined by natives of Colombia. There are no modern mass-production operations in regard to these rare Colombianite. Limited Supplies.

Also called \"Piedra Rayo\" or \"lightning stone\" by the Natives where they are mined in Valle del Cauca in Columbia. These stones were discovered approximately 30 years ago from this writing and are considered \'sacred stones\' and used by Columbian Healers. Colombianite is a 30 million year old pseudotektite that most closely resembles obsidian and is an exceptionally high vibration gem. Colombianite is considered more rare than Moldavite or Saffordite.
