RARE OLD Vintage ZUNI Sterling Silver Coral Squash Blossom Dangle Earrings For Sale

This listing is for a pair of vintage earrings, handcrafted by Zuni Artist, Jane L. Peynesta, from Sterling Silver and Mediterranean Coral.

This highly sought after cluster dangle design features a stunning display of natural Mediterranean Coral accompanied by classic silver work, all resting over dark beds of oxidized silver. Large half spheres hold the original post on each earring, with a connector, allowing them to dangle freely. A triple fluted petal shoots off the bottom of each earring, both being in great shape. The needlepoint corals are in excellent vintage condition while resting tight and secure in finely hand etched bezels. They have rich color qualities of orangey-red to oxblood red with subtle hints of natural pitting and veining.

The earrings are not signed by the Artist however, they were part of a 4 piece set made by Zuni Artist J.L. Peynesta. The matching ring listed separately is signed. There is no sterling stamp which is common of early Zuni pieces. The silver has been tested and we guarantee its purity of .925 sterling.
