Description This is a SCARCE WWII era US Marine bi-weekly new magazine entitled "The Leatherneck--Pacific Edition." Published by the US Marine Corps., Washington, D.C. This is Volume 2, No. 7, April 1, 1945. This issue deals with the Iwo Jima campaign and the famous photo of the marines raising the American flag on Mount Suribachi appears on the rear cover. This copy shows slight wear to spine area and there is a name of former owner at the top edge of the front cover. Remains a Very Good, complete copy!! Measures 10 X 13, 40 pages.
