This is a control line speed 21 based on a new O.S 21XZ-B SPEED.

This engine is rated at 2.56 BHP at 34000 RPM and will revto 40,000 RPM

The innards of this engine have been grafted into thelighter OS 21 crankcase. It has been fitted with a pipe which is an exact copy ofPeter Holman’s world record 21 of 321.228 KPH. This engine comes complete witha bespoke pan and a 39 mm spinner and to accept a 1 1/16 of an inch (27mm) standardF2A tail boom.

The reason for using the OS201XZ–B parts is that it uses DLCcoated crankshaft and the piston and liner assembly is probably the best thereis available for 21s and the stated brake horsepower is with a muffler sotherefore will be higher with the pipe. It is fitted with an 8.5 mm Venturi andWick feed, uses a Turbo plug on an insert. The head clamp, spinner assembly, Venturiand needle valve as been manufactured specifically for this engine. It has asilicon nitride rear bearing and both bearings are C3 and very free. This is avery good start to the ultimate 21!
