Original US Korean War Navy Veteran’s Year Book & Ephemera USS Roanoke USN For Sale

Up for sale is this Korean War era yearbook and ephemera lot. Named to US Navy veteran Neil “Clem” Long, retired Senior Chief Gunners Mate. Lot contains: yearbook from Orient Cruise, yearbook from USN Training Center Bainbridge Md. dated 1954, USS Roanoke mailing list as of 4-20-2001, 2001 USS Roanoke Reunion Banquet Program, a graduation review from the USN training center, a 1954 class photo, a reunion attendees sheet, a vintage newspaper comic strip clipping of The Peanuts and a tribute probably read at Chief Long’s funeral. A real treasure trove of things here that let you peek back to life in the US Navy in the 1950’s. Tons of photos in the two year books.
