This is the natural color when it was found. Spheres were made of this type of quartz up until a few years ago, now they don\'t any more as they aren\'t finding much of this specific quartz. The darkness in it comes from the free silicon dioxide found within the quartz, all by natural irradiation aka Mother Nature!
