The 1948 calendar pages are much more rare because they were not released by Esquire. They were released by "Varga Enterprises" and were pulled from the newsstands because of a copyright dispute between Vargas and Esquire.

This is an original pin up picture page from a pin up calendar that was extremely popular in America in the 1940s . Sexy pin up girl drawn by the famous pin up artist Varga (see bio below). These pin up pictures are extremely well know and very collectable. Don't get a reproduction when you can have the original! In excellent condition. No folds, no tears, little or no age stain. Measures approx 9 x 12 inches (23cm x 30cm). Great for framing, always a conversation piece.
