Original 1918 WWI American Red Cross Poster 8 Million Patriotic Workers Dexter For Sale

Offering this rare WWI era War Council of the American Red Cross poster. The bold text at the top reads, "Eight million patriotic Red Cross workers have made 291,004,000 necessary articles for war purposes..." The fine print at the base suggests that these were distributed for display at post offices. The lithographed portrait of a Red Cross worker top right is signed "Dexter" in-plate, for Wilson C. Dexter. There is a faint watermark in the bottom left corner as shown, but this is otherwise in good condition for its age and rarity. Measures about 21 1/2" x 14 1/2" framed. There is minor display wear to the frame, but it's ready to hang.
