Opalized Petrified Wood..Very Rare, Multi-Colored, Absolutely Beautiful!!. Approx. 5 pounds 7 x 7 inches in length. Found deep in the Mojave desert of California .. This piece is unique and very rare for the area in which it was found. I have never seen or felt anything like it. Many believe it to be a fossil of some ancient civilization whom lived here before the Indians. It seems to be a calming, soothing and protecting stone and may hold many secrets. This is the only stone I've ever seen of this type and I've been collecting for over 40 years.!
