Born in Hyogo Prefecture in 1935. Entered Tokyo University of the Arts in 1954. In 1957, he dropped out of Tokyo University of the Arts. In 1962, started working as an illustrator. In 1973, he moved to Miyazaki City, Miyazaki Prefecture. In 1980, he was spotlighted in the international poster illustration of the George Lucas Production of Star Wars 2 Empire. Received the Nebula Prize Art Category. In 2014, he won the Cultural Affairs Agency for the Film Award for Movie. He died on October 27, 2015, 79.

Kazumasa Hirai
Born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1938. In 1961, he won the Encouragement Award for the first awards of the SF Magazine in Hayakawa Shobo\'s science fiction magazine \"S-F Magazine\" and made his debut. In 1963, he was in charge of the original of the manga \"8 Man\", and then wrote a script for the TV anime version. In 1971, the \"Wolf Gai\" series, including the \"Wolf Eat\", and in 1979, started publishing the novel \"Genma Taisen\" series based on Shotaro Ishinomori, and recorded the bestsellers together.
