Enhanced reception of weak 160 meter signals are the sole task for KD9SV SV-160 Preamps, an ultra-low noise redesign using the BF981 FET, with a typical noise figure of only 0.7dB! They feature a front panel bypass switch and a variable gain control to adjust from 10 to 28 dB of pre-amplification. Optimized with built-in 1.8 to 2.0 MHz band-pass filtering, these preamps keep out unwanted broadcast stations, setting a new standard for 1.8 MHz performance.
