Proudly presented today is this gorgeous Italian marble bear sculpture by the by the very well-known and highly respected Roy M. Walters Jr, a Navajo Artist who has been sculpting for over 3 decades. His work is in several museums and has been featured in several publications. In Arizona Highways he was selected in their \"New Generation of Indian Artists\". A quick look around the web will reveal very impressive prices for his work. In this excellent example, measures 6 inches tall by 7 inches long by 2 inches thick. Standing on a pink granite base measuring 2 and a half inches by 6 inches, we see depicted a classic fetish-style bear with an ironwood arrowhead offering on his back. The piece is very prominently signed and dates from 2009. It comes from the collection of a world-class collector, its sole owner, who purchased it in Walter\'s gallery, in Tuba City.
