The exact color of light you will get will vary with the voltage applied; if you have low voltage, it will be warmer; and, with higher voltage (typical here in Alabama) it will appear cooler. We can not promise that you will like it; since it is labeled by the maker as purple, that is how we label it, as to do otherwise would be false advertising. We can not, therefore, promise that everyone will like thisshade of purple, and we only allow returns for defective product (dead bulbs). It is incredibly difficult to find any shade of purple at all, and this is the best we can do, this is our \"uniform\" or Mix & Match color. We just can not put ourselves in the position of arguing the semantics of the word purple, or the color purple. This has color been very popular with folks down South, we have sold thousands over the last 6 years. They are extremely popular for Mardi Gras.
