Up for sale is a Motorola Model XT18B from 1960. This a (6) Transistor portable. The radio takes (2) 9 volt batteries that are no longer available. The battery case has been replaced with a holder that takes (6) AA batteries that are included with this sale so it will be ready to play right out of the box. This radio has a push button on its back panel that when gingerly pressed will raise its handle. Unfortunately a previous owner did not know this and chipped 2 pieces on the radio\'s top ends adjacent to the handle in order to pry it open. These imperfections are clearly shown in the picture array. If you are able to get this, you will have purchased a really good looking and working example of the 1960\'s transistor era.
