Beautiful mid century porcelain perch figurine by Hutschenreuther Selb, Germany, designed by Gunther Granget. Base is impressed Granget and marked with the Hutschenreuther Selb LHS Germany Kunstabteilung stamp used between 1955 - 1968 and retains the original paper sticker.Measures 3 1/4" high x 4 1/2" long x 1 3/4" wide and is in Mint condition free of nicks, fleabites or wear.
Günther Granget (1932-2010) was a German sculptor, one of the most famous artists, who dedicated his work to wildlife. He was considered an advocate of realism.
