MTH MTA New York NY Subway R-42 E WTC World Trade Center 30-2162-1 4-Car Set NYC For Sale

MTH Rail King 4-Car New York Subway set of the R42 cars signed for the E train to World Trade Center and Jamaica Center / Parsons. Purchased as part of a larger collection many years ago. I have never taken it out of the box prior to photographing for this listing. It appears to be in very good condition, and only the powered car appears to have possibly been test run at the factory. None of the other cars show any sign of track usage. See pics. A couple number boards came off which I put in a plastic bag inside the packaging. There may be one missing…. Or it maybe be in the packing somewhere. I don’t see it, but I’ve never taken it out of the box.

Most of these trains are 20 years old or more. Please know what you are buying. Please read manuals before running. At minimum if it has an engine or powered car it needs to be charged first… and almost definitely need to swap the battery or replace it with a BCR depending on the engine. I do my best to describe all items and condition at time of sale, but even new these items often had windows that needed to be re-glued, parts put back on and batteries charged or even replaced. You can damage the electronics if you don’t. There are many valuable resources on the internet. Please don’t hesitate to ask for some available resources if you need them.
