While most of the Fist of Khonshu\'s past Marvel Comics\' volumes contributed to the content of the Moon Knight Disney+ series,JEFF LEMIRE and GREG SMALLWOOD\'s first arc \"Welcome To New Egypt\" was the most adapted run of them all -- and for good reason. Focusing more on the supernatural and psychological aspects of MOON KNIGHT\'S multi-faceted character rather than the character\'s super-heroics, \"Welcome To New Egypt\" offered excellent source material that worked within the show\'s creative focus, its goal to be introspective and remain insulated from the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe\'s superhero-side.
But while Lemire and Smallwood\'s vision and content served the recent streaming series well, theirMoon Knight run didn\'t widely resonate with the Marvel character\'s fanbase at the time. The publisher\'s incentivized covers saw lower print runs as a result. Six years later, that same result has transformed the Variant Covers from Moon Knight Volume 7 into the widely-sought yet Hard-To-Find treasures they\'ve become today.
