Boxwood Themometer!
This is an interesting themometer.  It is approximately 2\" wide x 9 7/8\" long.  We are dating it to the late 1800\'s to early 1900\'s based on it including the Reaumur scale!  The Reamur scale was used commonly in some parts of Europe through the mid to late 19th century and in parts of Russia until the early 20th century!  Considering that the themometer is clearly marked as being made in the USA with the shield at the bottom, we believe that the inclusion of the Reaumur scale would make it useful and understandable to the high quantity of immigrants coming from Europe!  Further, the USA shield mark supports the time period dating.

The themometer is in good to very good working condition.  Please supersize the listing images to view the condition in detail!
