LOT 5 Antique & Early Vintage Pin Cushions Figural Shoe Shoes Sewing Box Tools.
Description: Here\'s a little collection for you; 5 figural metal pin cushions in the shape of shoes, in a variety of charming styles. The pieces range in age from about 1910s to 1940s (one says made in Occupied Japan). One is made of copper with a gold-tone finish, one is made of metal with a copper finish, and three appear to be silver plate. These come from a larger lot of pincushions that I acquired several years ago; I recently rediscovered these as I went through boxes in my storage unit, and so am offering this grouping as a lot at a good price. I\'d be very glad to get them to a new home - they make a charming display, for collectors or for dealers.Condition: All are in fairly good shape; none of them have any cracks or damage to the metal. The shoe with the silk cushion has a small hole in the cushion; the other cushions have wear to the formerly velvet nap, but with no holes. The finish on all of the pieces have some degree of wear; the photos are the best description for that, so please look carefully and enlarge the photos. (See photos.)
