JOHILLCOKNIGHTS-CRUSADERS Set #166Vintageset of 7Knight Crusaderlead toy soldiersproducedby Johillco in the United Kingdom probably sometime in the 1930\'s through 1955before they converted to plastic. Includes 3 mounted Knights and 4 Knights on foot. Figures are in near mint condition in their original box. All figures are still tied to their original insert with original packing tissue. Box has some light storage wear.No tape or writing with corners intact.Scaled to 54mm figures approximate. Most Johillco figures were sold individually similar to American Dimestore figures and as such boxed sets are scarce. I believe this set was purchased at the Bon Marche Department store in Lowell, Massachusetts sometime in the 30\'s-50\'s. Original price sticker says \"$1.39,Bon Marche.\" Pix tells the story.
