Synopsis

Introduces Jessica Jones (of MCU / Earth 199999) in this exclusive San Diego Comic Con preview to the Netflix original series.

Jessica was hired by a woman to find her children's estranged father, Turk Barrett. She tracks him down to Metro-General Hospital to tell him that his children's mother was looking for him to better tend to his kids' well-being.

Jessica finds out about the "Devil of Hell's Kitchen" while interrogating Turk in regards to what put him in the hospital, and although she is happy about the idea of someone trying to fix the city, she is a bit distressed by the fact that he is guy fighting crime in a devil costume.

Under severe medication, Turk reveals to Jessica that he had fathered several children in his life, and Jessica, annoyed, tells Turk to straighten out his life, then proceeds to pull out his catheter and steal his money to give to her client. The police arrive, so Jessica leaps to the roof of the hospital to escape.
