Jack Benny (born Benjamin Kubelsky) was a celebrated American comedian of radio,television and occasional films which he publicly tried to disparage - Charley\'s Aunt (1941),To Be Or Not Be (1942), The Horn Blows at Midnight (1945). Known equally for his supposedstinginess and lack of violin technique. Throughout most of his career Benny collaboratedwith his wife, actress Mary Livingstone.
