1. Preheat iron to "Cotton" setting
2. Pretest your fabric for heat tolerance at this setting
3. Place the patch on the surface of the item (face up), then cover with a thin cotton cloth
4. Iron over cloth for 10 to 15 seconds
5. Turn item inside out and iron for 10 seconds on back of patch
6. Ensure patch has stuck to the item - if not, repeat this process
