Hand made western cowboy ranch saddle bronc tree EE Henderson Kearney NE 1940\'s For Sale

Selling off a few saddles from an estate~ Marked E E Henderson Kearney Nebraska. I did a little research and contacted the makers father. He owns and operates the Platte Valley Saddle Shop and was a big help! Here is part of an email he sent to me:\" The saddle was made by Elmus Henderson early in the 40’s. He got his makers stamp in 1945, so it was before that, as the makers name is with individual letters. It is made on a Low Bronc tree, popular at the time. Other than stirrup straps & strings, it looks to be all original\". He also told me that it would have sold for $100 to $110 at the time. Here is a little info on the old company :\"In 1942, Elmus and Edna Henderson founded the Platte Valley Saddle Shop in Kearney, Nebraska, making quality western saddles.Seventy one years later Lyle and Lynda Henderson are continuing the tradition of making quality western saddles.It would be our privilege to help you with all your western tack and saddle needs.\"I assume the stirrups are not original! There is just a little crazing, but bad! Would make a great collectible or look it over and use it! The horn and tree are solid! I sat in it and it is SO comfortable! Just a totally neat saddle!
