HUGE HEAVY Vintage Native Hand Wrought Silver Turquoise Inlay Ring 😳 For Sale

This listing features a vintage sterling silver and Turquoise ring, handcrafted by world renowned Apache Artist, Carlos White Eagle (1937-2013). We have attributed this ring to be one of his earlier mid century pieces.

This larger ring features natural blue green turquoise chips inlaid over a thick bed of silver, creating a thunderbird design. The turquoise chips are in good condition and rest securely. There is one tiny area at the tip of one eagle wing that is missing a chip.

It appears that a large appliqué was wrapped around the face and sides of the ring and then chiseled around the edges. The design is super cool and the worn silver gives off so much character. Would be great as a man’s pinky ring or a statement piece for a woman.

The Artist’s signature is clearly visible on the back of the ring face and reads “White Eagle” etched in script. There is no sterling mark which is common in older Native pieces however, the silver has been tested and we guarantee its purity of .925 sterling.

***MEASUREMENTS AND DETAILS***

• Size - 8
• Weight - 40 Grams
• Face/Shank Measurements - The ring face measures 1-1/8” long by just a hair under 1” wide…it has a depth/thickness of just over 1/8” at from center and 1/4” at the front side corners (Please see photo #16). The bottom center of shank measures about 3/16” wide before widening on each side towards the face. And, the shank is just under 1/8” thick…it’s a very solid thick band.
