HAMMOND spin-start Alarm Clock; Art Deco Chrome: 1920s-30s, RUNS-KEEPS TIME:
$99.99

We have seen this clock variously described as wither the \"Grenadier\" model or the \"Polo\" model; it does say \"Polo\" at the very bottom on the back of the foot tab support. See the included 11 photos and video of this clock starting and running to assess its visual condition. This pretty, chromed-and-black art deco horseshoe-shaped synchronous spin-start alarm clock is from the Hammond Co. of Hammond, Indiana, a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. This clock runs and keeps time (See video of it being spin-started and running). The alarm also works. Manufactured in the 1920s-1930s, this clock is still equipped with its 2-strand, mostly-still-encased-in-black-cloth electric cord. We haven\'t replaced the original cord, as it is still safe and the 2 wires are still intact. However, if originality isn\'t a high concern, then at the option of a Buyer, we could replace it with a new Rayon cord before shipping it out. While this Hammond model isn\'t hugely rare, in this condition it is less common. The dial face, in particular, is much less spotted and pock-marked than is typical of this model; it is quite clean but for a tiny fleck or two.
