Up for salefrom my collection is a Superb original “Full Plate” Ambrotype Photograph taken at “TableRock Falls” located at “Niagara Falls”. Photographed by Photographer “EdwardDavis”, who was in operation near the falls from 1855 through 1860. This viewshows a young couple photographed in front of the falls on a sunny summer day.The young woman sits dressed in a wonderful white dress and holding a small umbrellato shield herself from the hot sun. A wedding photo perhaps to remember theoccasion. Her male company sits on the ground lounging on a large bear skin! Anumber of large logs can be seen scattered behind the couple, washed ashore byhigher water levels. This example still retains the original paper mat fromDavis which denotes the location. A wonderful image.

I had this professionallyframed in a high-quality period looking frame from one of the best guys in theindustry and mounted and spaced so it shows the original guilt frame by thephotographer and still together with the original glass and covered in the newframe with Museum glass.
