The earliest known signed baseball from the great Ted Williams (as well as the earliest known game used artifact) is presented here for the advanced collector. It was signed while Ted was attending Hoover High School in San Diego, California while he was a teenager. The Official California League game used trophy ball is boldly notated, \"Hoover vs. Cathedral, Southern California Finals, Played at Wrigley Field, LA, June 8, 1934.\" Williams\' black ink signature presents boldly on a side panel, with moderate surface wear resulting in a technical grade of 6/10. Any such condition issues, however, must be forgiven in light of the tremendous rarity and desirability. One could rest quite comfortably in the belief that no earlier baseball will ever arise in the collecting world, providing the owner bragging rights for life. Comes with full photo COA from PSA DNA and tamper proof sticker. The photo is of the original owner of the baseball with a very young Ted Williams.
