Personal and Naval documents for Thomas Moore Burke who served on U.S.S. Ohio BB-12 during a portion of the Great White Fleet cruise 1907-1909 and the U.S.S. South Carolina BB-26, America's first dreadnought battleship.
The very rare Continuous Service Certificate is the only one I've ever seen, in 40 years, that is not contained in booklet fashion. It is printed on sturdy 19 1/2" x 8 1/2" sheets of paper, as seen in the listing photos.
Included are some of Burke's official Navy letters/documents plus his birth certificate showing his date of birth to be Sept. 14, 1885, Liberty Township, Ross County, state of Ohio.
