This is a rare \"Kenansville\" Pattern Cavalry Saber. This sword was a used and captured weapon.The tip is broken and there is gold paint on the hilt from display in a GAR hall years ago. The original oilcloth and single strand wire are still on the handle. There is no scabard. This sword is a Confederate made sword.
