This key wind pocket watch was designed so that soldiers in the field or sailors at sea could check the time without having to flip the lid saving precious time in the heat of battle. It would also protect the watch face during the rigors of daily field use.

Unfortunately the watch is missing all hands and a crystal. The watch will not wind but the fly wheel turns freely. The key is included.
