Amphora RStK ART NOUVEAU
Paul Daschel Poppies in Bloom Floral Handled Vase

 

~~*~~ Simply Beautiful!! C1900 Amphora RStK ART NOUVEAU Red Poppies in Bloom Vase with Floral Attached Handles.
The Red Poppies on the front are Handpainted. On the back of the Vase are various other Handpainted Flowers.
The Vase stands approximately 43 cm or 17\" tall and is about 8 1/2\" or 21.5 cm wide at the Handles. It is in overall Excellent Condition. There are two stress fractures (made this way) towards the top of the Applied Handles. These have been stabilized (see photo) There is a place on the Rim that does not have one of the tiny gold balls but it also appears to have been made this way (see photo). The Gold trim is 99.9% intact. I could find no paint loss. Any white spots are glare. Please ask any questions before purchasing.
The Vase is marked on the bottom with the
AM-2 mark (the \'Made in Austria\' is very faint). It is also impressed with\'480\' and \'17\'. In looking at the Amphora Collector Book by Scott, I believe that this was a Paul Dachsel design.
This Vase will be packed using lots of packing materials and will Ship in a purchased oversized Box for a Safe Shipment.
