Beautiful antique 19th century Burmese dha with scabbard. This is a fine fighting dha, with a 22.5" native blade in very nice condition with uniform patina and a period, very sharp edge. A couple of nicks near tip. The hilt consists of wood with brass, bronze or copper fittings, and the grip is white ray skin, held in place with brass tacks. All parts of sword are rock solid. Sword measures 30.5 inches overall and weighs 1 lb 2 ozs. Original wooden scabbard is bound with brass or bronze fittings. And holds sword securely. Scabbard does have an identification number carved into it.
